Spring Break
For spring break, I will be going to an island of Malaysia called Lang Kawi. I will be relaxing in the hotel or on the beach most of the time. I can also windsurf and swim. The pool of the hotel is very big and so are the hotel rooms, they are like apartments! I am very excited.
Malaysia Week Experiance
For my Malaysia Week, my sight changed because it flooded at my original site. The site I went to is called Belum. In Belum, we basically do the same thing in Endau Rampen, my original site, but this time the hiking is easier, but we sleep in tents every night. In Belum we swam in a river that our campsite was next to. The water was really warm so it was easy to get in. On the hikes, there are these bugs called leeches that stick on you and suck your blood. They look like little worms that move around like slinkies. You will not be very comfortable if you see one crawling up your leg. If you bring salt and sprinkle it on the leech, the salt burns through the leech and it falls off. Then its starts bleeding everywhere. The hiking wasn't much fun though. My favorite of the trip was when i went swimming in the river.

My name is Elliot. I live in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I'm 11 years old. My favorite thing to do is to play soccer. I play for a local club that I live close to. I also love all the different attractions there are in Malaysia. You can do lots of shopping and you can visit old Indian and Chinese temples. Kuala Lumpur also has 2 of the tallest buildings in the world. I go to ISKL, the International School of Kuala Lumpur. This coming Sunday I am going on a field trip. I am going to Endau Rampen, the oldest rainforest in the world. I will do lots of hiking. I will also raft down a river. I will meet the local tribe that lives there, the Orang Asli. I will bring them a soccer ball.
