Creation Myth Paragraph
My Name
My name means "My god is the lord", as if I was to be very religious. My name may be Hebrew, and my name might mean my god is the lord, but I can tell you that I am not religious. Back in the medieval times Elliot was originally Elijah. Overtime Elijah became Elliot, and that would be the only good thing about my name. I would never want my name to be Elijah. One thing that I am unhappy about my name is that since Elliot is so common, many people misspell my name. They spell it like Elliott, Eliott, or Eliot, when my name is actually Elliot. See unlike most people who end up liking there names after writing this paragraph, i still do not appreciate or like my name.

I chose this picture for many reasons. First of all, I think of journeys as mazes, which is the case in my picture. I believe this because a maze has many obstacles, such as dead ends, as well as journeys have many obstacles. My picture also has the maze represented as the world. Journeys happen all over the world and so this links to a journey being a world. My quote relates to my picture as well. For example, whenever you go through a maze, you might need teamwork and communication. If you find your way out of a maze, you might feel happy or proud. But when did you learn how to communicate and have teamwork? When you were going through the maze, not when you scrambled your way out of the maze. That relates to my quote because, as i said, lessons come from the journey, not the destination.

Malaysia Week Experiance
Thursday, March 12, 2009
My name is Elliot. I live in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I'm 11 years old. My favorite thing to do is to play soccer. I play for a local club that I live close to. I also love all the different attractions there are in Malaysia. You can do lots of shopping and you can visit old Indian and Chinese temples. Kuala Lumpur also has 2 of the tallest buildings in the world. I go to ISKL, the International School of Kuala Lumpur. This coming Sunday I am going on a field trip. I am going to Endau Rampen, the oldest rainforest in the world. I will do lots of hiking. I will also raft down a river. I will meet the local tribe that lives there, the Orang Asli. I will bring them a soccer ball.
